Всё до последнего верил, что история вернётся на тот уровень, который был в первых томах, но четно — автор выдохся уже на арке с бандой «робингудов», а дальше было лишь хуже, если не считать мелкие моменты в предыстории. Особенно ужасно начал сливаться злодей, который уж больно часто стал нести полный бред, лишь бы нагнать побольше пафоса. Мб кому то будет такое по нраву, да и я мог просто не понять его мыслей, но имхо мотивация и действия должны быть обоснованными и понятными, иначе следить за этим не интересно.

До того, как историю унесло в другую степь, автор изящно вплетал свои мысли в корейские народные истории и это пожалуй лучшая часть произведения.

Гг хоть и является набором бородатых штампов аля «злой эгоист, у которого на самом деле добрая душа», но следить за ним всё равно было весьма интересно, чего не скажешь о его спутнице — вечно ноющем, по поводу и без, ходячим фансервисом.

В динамике рисовка не всегда радовала, но во всём остальном она очень хороша.

Тратить время или нет — дело ваше, но к середине и дальше читать становится всё труднее.

Я, как фанат Берсерка, заявляю, что эта манга находится абсолютно на таком же уровне по сюжету, рисовке и персонажам как и «Берсерк», а прошлый отзыв по этой манге можете не читать, так как человек не знает что такое ТЕМНОЕ ФЕНТЕЗИ и АНГСТ, ведь его уровень — это низкосортные иссекаи и детские фентези, но никак не тёмный и депрессивный мир полный смерти и жестокости.. Да и вообще какой смысл писать отзыв когда ты не понимаешь что ты читаешь вообще и весь твой опыт в чтении манг это Фэйри Тэйл.

ДАК ВОТ. Данную мангу я абсолютно точно вам РЕКОМЕНДУЮ, если вы смотрели Берсерка или Ковбоя Бибопа. Почему именно эти произведения спросите вы? А вот так вот я решил, ведь читая эту мангу я так и не понял на что она была больше похожа. Первая половина манги лайтовая и больше походит на Ковбоя Бибопа, вторая же половина (решающая схватка) уже более депрессивная и глубокая (как конец Берсерка). Все персонажи хорошо раскрыты, со своим стержнем и характером который они показывают под конец манги, а Мунсу — это смесь Гатса и Спайка, а Аджи Тхэ — это полная копия Гриффита. Сама манга держала меня на одном дыхании. Скажу честно, в двух моментах я почти заплакал.

На самом деле я мог бы еще тут кучу всего написать, но это бы уже превратилось в Рецензию а не Обзор, да и боюсь что напишу какой-нибудь спойлер. Я искренне желаю, что данную мангу не обойдут стороной и сделают Аниме-адаптацию ( Повелитель призраков я не смотрел, но думаю, что это просто первые главы манги.)

Манге я поставил конечно 10/10 и как фанат атмосферы тёмных фентези я был очень сильно доволен.

What the fuck is wrong with some people? Like, seriously, what the god damn fuck is wrong with some people?

This author/artist already has a thing for guro, as evinced by his other works, but the biggest part of this manga’s story collection is based off the true story of Junko Furuta, and for all the horror that poor girl went through, the fact that this asshole who created this manga is profiting off her torture, rape, and murder should be giving anyone pause. How anyone can give this manga a g What the fuck is wrong with some people? Like, seriously, what the god damn fuck is wrong with some people?

In 1988, she was kidnapped by a boy she had rejected, and subsequently was tortured and raped for 44 days before finally succumbing to the abuse she was forced to endure.

44 fucking days of being raped and sodomized (by both penises and various objects) bludgeoned, burned, forced to play sadistic games in hopes of gaining freedom or mercy. and had her limbs doused in lighter fluid before being set on fire. She was also forced to eat when she didn’t want to and was punished for vomiting, as well as soiling herself after losing control of her bathroom functions. put into a freezer, and beaten with barbells.

Shockingly, her tormentors/murderers got off relatively light. Not one of these assholes got more than 10 years in jail aside from the gang leader, who got only 17 years.

And this manga author, who is known for his guro art, thought it’d be a fucking great idea to sensationalize this story in this shitty manga for profit and titilliation.

Junko Furuta went through sheer, absolute hell for one and a half months, and this manga is nothing short of adding egregious, inexcusable insult to horrific, soul-rending injury. Anyone who would give this manga a good rating — or fap over it — should be ashamed of themselves.

I’ve come across my fair share of bad books in my life, but this takes the motherfucking cake. The suffering of a human being should never be used for profit or for masturbation material.

I have experience reading Uziga’s works and I have to say «Schoolgirl in Concrete» or Shin Gendai Ryoukiden has got to be the most brutal of all his art.

The reason why the story is so gut-wrenching is because it’s based on the true story of the murder of Junko Furuta.

There is just something uncanny about looking at this graphic depiction of reality that becomes too much for the reader to stomach. The level of violence is expected of Uziga, however this work not only defaces the victim and victi I have experience reading Uziga’s works and I have to say «Schoolgirl in Concrete» or Shin Gendai Ryoukiden has got to be the most brutal of all his art.

The fact that this was written to tantalize makes me want to give. I know Uziga’s prime objective was to be shocking, but this is more eye-rolling than eye-widening. Makes me wonder if the author himself fapped to the news reports over t I like violent stuff. Gore and ero-guro included.

For anyone that does not know, Junko Furuta was a 17-year-old girl kidnapped by a trio of worthless human beings on her way home from her part-time job. She was holed up in one of their homes and subjected to horrible dehumanizing tortures and rape for over a month until she passed away. They disposed of her corpse in a cement drum, hence she became «the schoolgirl encased in concrete».

Call me a hypocrite, but I wouldn’t have minded the cruelty within if it weren’t based off something that actually happened. Then you could just chalk it up to fantasym If this were meant to be bring light to the cruelty this young lady faced in her last days it would be a different story, or if the purpose was to highlight the human condition and how cruel and vile we can be to one another. But that’s impossible, as anyone familiar with the author knows that his primary objectives are titillation and being as shocking as possible. This is fetish stuff. No depth whatsoever. Just wank rag for people who get off on knowing this is based off a real girl’s horrible death.

Subject aside, this actually contains some of Uziga’s worst artwork. Now that I’m older I’m kind of on the fence about his art in general. His color images actually aren’t bad, and the gore looks pretty good. Can’t say the same about the actual in-chapter stuff. I dunno. Maybe he overuses tone. He makes his girls look stereotypically adorable (and same-faced) and goes out of the way to make their torturers ugly as fuck. I dunno if it’s shorthand or just to add to the victim’s humiliation. Whatever.

It’s just so ugly to even think about making a manga like this, i still can’t believe that the mangaka thought it would be okay if he just made a manga about such a sensitive case like this.

I’m really strong-minded and brutal scenes don’t touch me. But here we have a eroguro manga based on tragedy that actually happened. I see it as a kind of disrespect to the victim’s family and victim herself. I do know that this author has more manga of this genre but this particular one made my hands shake. It also disgust me that he made a profitable manga about a murder that actually happened! I repeat myself, I know, but it’s just beyond common sense that I know. Pl I wish I never read this.

I’m not going to review this except for that I don’t think that this deserved a star. This is a true crime case of a girl who never deserved any of this and didn’t even get her justice after she died. It even state’s somewhere that one of the people who did this to her has apparently bragged about it proudly. It’s truly disgusting and vile. And I would probably read up the Wikipedia page of what happened to her and treat this with uttermost respect since it’s a real human being. I don’t want to throw shade at the manga artist since I hope he just made this manga to highlight how unfair this case is and that it should never be forgotten or happen again.

And lastly I just wanted to leave this here to remind everyone that this girl isn’t just a true crime sensation but someone who had a future and a life (in case some idiots might jerk off to this or simply read this for kicks):

Furuta was born in Misato, Saitama Prefecture. She lived with her parents, her elder brother, and her younger brother. As a teenager, she attended Yashio-Minami High School and worked part-time at a plastic molding factory during after school hours since October 1988. She did this to save up money for a graduation plan she had arranged. Furuta also accepted a job at an electronics retailer, where she planned on working after graduation. At high school, Furuta was well-liked by her classmates, with high grades and very infrequent absences. . more

These guys are sadly living a normal life now, even they were involved in more incidents. The japanese goverment apparently don‘t give a f*ck if someone gets tortured or raped. They should have been put in jail for life at least, but no. «teens are just messing» . «teens deserve another chance», like seriously, if you torture, rape and kill someone for 44 days at a age of 16, you aren‘t just a teen in your head. Si le doy 5 estrellas es porque Waita Uziga logró plasmar el caso de Junko Furuta bastante bien y, de no haber sido por este manga, muy probablemente yo jamás me habría enterado de un caso tan devastador.

«Junko Furuta (18 de enero de 1971 – 4 de enero de 1989), fue una una joven estudiante japonesa que fue secuestrada brutalmente torturada, violada y asesinada por cuatro estudiantes del mismo colegio en noviembre de 1988 en Japón. Pasó en la ciudad de Misato, Prefectura de Saitama durante 44 días. El cautiverio de Furuta tuvo lugar en el domicilio de los padres de Nobuharu.
Los nombres de los secuestradores eran Miyano Hiroshi, 18 años en el momento del crimen; Jo Kamisaku -apellido adoptado tras su salida de prisión-, de 17, Minato Nobuharu, de 16; y Watanabe Yasushi de 17.
Para evitar una investigación policial, Hiroshi obligó a Furuta a llamar a sus padres y fingir que había huido de casa, pero que se encontraba con «un amigo» y no corría peligro. Asimismo, la extorsionó para que se hiciera pasar por la novia de uno de los chicos cuando los padres se encontraban en casa. Sin embargo, cuando descubrieron que la chica en realidad estaba secuestrada, se aseguró de que los padres no llamarían a la policía, y abandonó el pretexto. Furuta intentó escapar en diversas ocasiones y pidió ayuda a los padres más de una vez, pero ellos no hicieron nada por temor a las amenazas de Hiroshi. En esa época, Hiroshi era un líder de la baja mafia japonesa o yakuza y presumía de poder utilizar sus contactos para matar a cualquiera que tratase de intervenir.
Según las declaraciones de los jóvenes en el juicio, los cuatro violaron y vejaron a Furuta de diversas maneras. Entre ellas, figuran la introducción de cuerpos extraños, incluyendo una barra de hierro en su vagina, obligarla a beber su propiaorina, alimentarla con cucarachas, inserción de artefactos pirotécnicos en su recto y posteriormente prenderlos, forzar a Furuta a masturbarse, amputación de un pezón con unos alicates, tirarle mancuernas al estómago y quemarla con cigarrillos y mecheros (una de esas quemaduras fue un castigo por intentar llamar a la policía). La situación llegó a tal punto que, según las declaraciones de uno de ellos, «le llevaba más de una hora arrastrarse escaleras abajo para ir al baño». También señalaron que «probablemente unas cien personas» sabían que Furuta estaba allí prisionera, pero no está claro si esto significa que estuvieron allí durante el cautiverio de la joven o si participaron en las violaciones y abusos. Cuando los jóvenes se negaron a dejarla ir, ella suplicó en diversas ocasiones que «la mataran y siguieran con su vida»
El 4 de enero de 1989, Junko fue retada a jugar al mahjong, saliendo victoriosa. Esto causó la ira de los chicos, quienes la golpearon con una pesa de hierro, para luego rociar sus extremidades, tronco y cara con líquido inflamable y prenderle fuego.
Los cuatro manifestaron que no eran conscientes de la condición de Furuta, la cual murió horas después a causa de un estado de shock.
Los sádicos asesinos escondieron su cadáver en un bidón lleno de cemento, el cual fue abandonado en Kõtõ, Tokio.»

Llegué a este manga por casualidad, buscando algo que leer para un desafío literario. Sinceramente, cuando leo la obra de un mangaka que no leí antes, no me fijo tanto en el mangaka en sí, ya después si el manga en sí me llama la atención y quiero seguir leyendo más cosas del autor, investigo un poco más. Soy de leer mucho policial así que el manga me había llamado la atención, pero me esperaba algo totalmente distinto. En este momento tengo tanta rabia encima que tuve que esperar unos minutos a Llegué a este manga por casualidad, buscando algo que leer para un desafío literario. Sinceramente, cuando leo la obra de un mangaka que no leí antes, no me fijo tanto en el mangaka en sí, ya después si el manga en sí me llama la atención y quiero seguir leyendo más cosas del autor, investigo un poco más. Soy de leer mucho policial así que el manga me había llamado la atención, pero me esperaba algo totalmente distinto. En este momento tengo tanta rabia encima que tuve que esperar unos minutos antes de sentarme escribir.

Después de haber leído un poco más acerca del mangaka, me enteré que es parte de un movimiento llamado ero-guro, que vendría a ser erótico-grotesco, y que protesta en contra de los temas tabú. Sin embargo, más allá de que sea parte de dicho movimiento, todo en este manga me parece una falta de respeto.

La “trama” está basada en un hecho real, el secuestro de Junko Furuta a manos de un grupo de chicos de su edad, que no llego a entender si eran o no compañeros suyos porque las fuentes varían. Ella solo tenía 17 años y no solo fue retenida en contra de su voluntad, sino que también fue torturada y violada. Después de pasar 44 días secuestrada, murió a manos de sus secuestradores, quienes la mutilaron, encerrando sus partes en un bloque de cemento. La razón por la que la policía descubrió el cuerpo fue por una grieta que se había formado en el bloque por la que escapaba el olor a putrefacción.

Creo que un caso así impresiona a cualquiera. También me parece que, estando basada en una historia tan brutal, lo mínimo que se podría tener por la fallecida y por su familia es respeto. Esperaba una historia informativa, algo un poco más serio, pero no, tal como remarque arriba, puro ero-guro. El mangaka se limitó a mostrar el punto de vista más crudo de la historia de una forma que revuelve el estómago, y concluye su obra con un simple “fin” aleatorio, limitándose al sexo y la violencia sin dar siquiera una contextualización general de lo que pasó.

Algo que también resulta chocante (y que, aunque se podría considerar una crítica a la sociedad, por el tipo de obra parece más que nada un detalle conveniente para el avance) es que en un momento dado, la madre del chico que vive donde la retienen entra en el cuarto, la ve a ella, y después de unos cuantos gritos por parte del hijo, no se la vuelve a ver. Se da a entender que esa madre vive ahí, por lo poco que se ve de la casa hay patrón de que sea un hogar familiar, y esa mujer no hizo absolutamente nada.

Creo que una de las cosas que más me indignan del manga es que no tiene ningún tipo de advertencia. La sinopsis no indaga mucho, no hay nada que diga “hey, te estás a punto de meter en un manga bastante heavy”. Más allá de la clasificación, que según vi, en muchos lugares se limitan a marcarlo como terror, y que es comprensible porque se está hablando de un asesinato, no hay nada más que te haga replantearte lo que estás a punto de leer.

En fin, no me gustó, no me parece la mejor forma de tratar este tema. No digo que está mal que el mangaka tome una postura ero-guro, cada uno con sus mambos, pero no me parece limitar una historia real sobre un crimen tan violento a… lo que es esto. . more
